What are the cancellation and change policies?

Cancellations and changes of scheduled treatments are accepted up to four hours prior to the appointment without incurring a charge. For cancellations within four hours or no shows, you will be charged 100% of the treatment price. If appointments are reserved before arrival at the hotel, THE SPA cancellation policy follows the one of your hotel reservation.

What is the minimum age for using THE SPA?

The minimum age for treatment in THE SPA is 16. Please note guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the use of our thermal area. We kindly ask that all guests respect the quiet and calm spa environment.

How much time should be planned for an appointment?

We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your appointment to take full advantage of our thermal facilities. Out of respect to others, guests arriving late will not receive an extension to their scheduled treatment.

What needs to be noticed in case of pregancy or health conditions?


We have specially trained therapists for expectant mothers. Please allow our Spa hosts to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable during this special time.

In order to give you the best possible spa experience, please advise us at the beginning of your treatment of any health conditions, allergies or injuries that could affect your experience.

Is the use of mobile phones or cameras permitted?

Our Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect all Spa guests’ desire for privacy and serenity. We kindly request that you refrain from using your mobile phone and camera while enjoying the spa.

Where can I leave my personal articles?

Please keep all valuables secure in your locker or in the hotel room safe.

We regret that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal articles.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes, the ideal gift for spa enthusiasts or a delightful way to introduce someone to the benefits of treatments. Gift vouchers are available for purchase at our reception or can be bought online on thespa.steigenberger.com/vouchers.

What is the dress code at THE SPA like?

Please be advised that guests may use the thermal area with or without bathing garments.
